Rolex Explorer 2 "SRR" NOS à venda

Nao imaginava a Rolex recentemente ainda "distribuindo" edicoes especiais destinadas às forças armadas..
Me esclarecam: isto vem da Rolex ou da AD, q adquire e personaliza os modelos??

In 2007 Rolex London delivered an extremely small number of specially made Explorer II's to the UK's secretive Special Reconnaissance Regiment. Each of these 139 watches was individually numbered and engraved with the the units cap badge on the case back. The special forces operative receiving the watch had to sign a document promising they would not immediately sell the watch on. ALthough a few of these have made their way to the market before today, almost none have been in completely untouched, fully stickered "BNIB" condition like this one. Complete with its original box, case & bracelet stickers, tags and books, this extremely rare limited edition 16570 is accompanied by the original warranty card detailing the delivery from Rolex directly to the SRR in October 2007.

basicamente uma personalização só atrás.

mas quem vende 1 milhão de relógios ao ano pode se dar a esse pequeno luxo.

e há um segundo aspecto: é marketing bem feito. manter o relógio em uso no pulso de quem estaria hoje usando um g-shock ou coisa parecida, pra manter a mítica da marca,de produzir "tool watches" que ninguém mais usa como efetivo "tool watch".

bom, deve alcançar um bom preço no leilão.
