Olá pessoal:
Olhem só esta marca que está retornando ao mercado depois de 50 anos de ausência.
History.
Virage brings Lonville back to the world of luxury watch making after more than 50 years of absence. The 136 year old Lonville brand was part of the Langendorf Watch Company, founded by Johann Kottman in 1873. In its heyday Langendorf was one of the world’s largest watch and clock makers.
Lonville has always been a niche brand and produced wonderfully decorated pocket watches, and later wrist watches, in small series for specific markets, including export to the United States. During the midfifties manufacture of Lonville diminished and Lonville gradually went silent…until now. Virage is here, the silence is broken.
Passion.
After ‘discovering’ Lonville in 2007, Joost Vreeswijk gathered a group of watch enthusiasts to breath new life into this historic brand, staying true to the concepts of great watch making while ensuring exclusivity through limited series. The Lonville team consist of a small core team and a growing group of ambassadors stake-holders. Our shared passion for watches has gradually taken the shape of The Lonville Watch Company SA, a small niche watch company. We create remarkable watches for real enthusiasts, and for each new watch project we invite our ambassadors, customers, friends, partners and people from the world of classic cars and boats to contribute to the creation of a new special watch. Welcome to our world!
Rarity.
A Lonville Virage will always be a rare sight because we will create very few pieces. This rarity factor offers Lonville owners a great, but understated, pleasure of owning something unique that was created for them.
This is how watch-making was in the past. We like it that way.
Craft.
Following Lonville tradition, the creation of all components and the entire assembly of Virage takes places in Switzerland using traditional watch making skills, combined with the latest technology. The movement is entirely created, assembled and decorated within a radius of 40kms of La Chaux-de-Fonds, the century old heart of Switzerland’s watch making industry.
